Glorious Excess

Mike Shinoda (Linkin Park) is throwing an art exhibition which consists of all of his new paintings at the Japanese-American Museum in Los Angeles this Friday. I’ve personally been more of a fan of his artworks which splurges all over each Linkin Park and Fort Minor releases than his music, although the musical productions are amazing. I always look forward to the CD releases for the DVD combo because I love seeing the work and dedication the band put into each and every album….no, more like EVERY SINGLE TRACK. I finally got to visit Mr. Hahn’s SURU shop recently (as you can see from the previous post) and I have a deeper respect for them in that they really know their crafts unlike a lot of these Top 40 artists who have no knowledge of musicianship. So, if you’re in town, come by and enjoy some really good paintings. You might even leave the premises feeling a bit more inspired.
