Revenge Of The Nerds

I find myself fully awake at 3:50AM lurking around the dark street corners of the Internet with an urge to blog. One problem: What the heck am I going to write about? Parties? Check. Food? Check. Mirror-shots? Check. I spent about an hour watching a Jay-Z documentary off of Jeff Staple’s blog which breaks down one of Hip-Hop’s strongest albums to date — ‘Reasonable Doubt’. Then I started doing some sketches and jotted down some ideas I might use in the future. After a relentless search for something profound ( say the least..), I came across what may seem to be one of the priciest ways any group of engineers have spent their money on to look cool. I must admit, the spider does look awesome but once all the hype and hooplah dies down, they’re still a group of nerds. One thing to keep in mind though, is the fact that we should NEVER mess with crazy nerds because if they have the skill to create something this major, then they might be more ready to take over the world than we think. If you’ve followed any old-school sci-fi flicks, you know how powerful robots can be…and who better equipped to control those androids than the nerds — or for a better term, ENGINEERS?

For more pictures and information on the LA Machine’s takeover of Europe’s “Capitol of Culture” — Liverpool — check out LA Machine’s website. I actually went through every page on their website and found that it’s a pretty interesting read. The group of artists and engineers have done a lot of very intriguing works and have continued to push the boundaries of technology and theatrical arts since they collaborated back in 1990.

So, Revenge of the Nerds it is…
