“Street Shots”

Martha Cooper is an established photojournalist who is best known for her documentation of New York’s graffiti scene in the 1970’s and 80’s. What I find astounding about her is that she’s done so many intriguing things in her life — which includes volunteering as a Peace Corps in Thailand teaching the english language, journeying her way from Bangkok to London by motorcycle, interning for National Geographic Magazine, and releasing a number of books along the way.

With that said, I’m excited to announce that she’s having an exhibition at the Subliminal Projects Gallery this Friday entitled ‘Street Shots’.
